Hatha Yoga with Jane Robertson

We were very lucky to have the opportunity to review Hatha Yoga with instructor par excellence Jane Robertson. Jane attended her first yoga course at the tender age of six, trained with The British Wheel of Yoga for three years, and is also qualified to teach yoga for children, pregnancy and stress. Her love of yoga and meditation shine through every aspect of her teaching and although she often teaches Hatha and Vinyasa flow, Jane regularly includes elements of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Kundalini yoga into her classes. Emphasis is on correct alignment, safety, connecting breath with movement and encouraging students into present moment awareness. Pranayama (breathing practices), deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) and meditation techniques are often featured at the end of classes and we can personally testify to the incredible energy and repose that extends throughout your entire body following one of her classes!

In addition to her group classes at Akasha, she’s available for private tuition (one-on-one instruction) and also leads a retreat in Sardinia. If you’re interested in getting in touch with her, please contact us at info@innerplace.co.uk.
